Dort ist die Beschaffung alkoholhaltiger Getränke etwas mühselig. Claudia ist leicht irritiert, als sie feststellt, daß man in Colorado offen Waffen tragen darf und wir wahrhaftig kleinere und größere Exemplare an verschiedenen Gürteln erblicken. Durch landwirtschaftlich geprägte Landschaft geht es weiter in nördlicher Richtung bis die 491 bei Monticello, Utah, auf die 191 trifft. Rechts abbiegen und wir sind auf bekannten Pfaden.
